BAYS REFEREE REPRESENTATIVES
Frank Bagnardi & Levon Akoghlanian
[email protected] (goes to both)
As the start of a fresh season is upon us, I wanted to take a quick minute to thank you all for your continued service to BAYS and the soccer community in general. Without your participation, the hundreds of games that happen in our league can’t happen. We all have “that game” where we make a decision we might want to take back, or we get feedback from coaches, players, or spectators that we’d rather not receive. But please know, that without you none of the great things that happen each season don’t happen and although you probably don’t hear it enough, thank you!
Some points of emphasis for the upcoming season:
- Remember, first impressions are hard to change. Arrive early, look professional with the correct uniform worn properly, and handle your responsibilities to the best of your ability.
- Please familiarize yourself with The BAYS Rules of Competition. There is a great summary chart that gives a breakdown of some of the different BAYS rules by age/grade group.
- Please complete your game reports within 24 hours of the completion of the game. If you have any issues out of the ordinary, serious injury, misconducts, or zero tolerance violations, they should be fully documented within your game reports.
Other than that, continue to do the things you do! BAYS referees are some of the most respected from around the state, and we should all strive to keep it that way!
Thanks again and have a great season!
