Hello All Town Presidents, Registrars, Referee Assignors, and Treasurers,

I’ve had lots of conversations with people throughout the soccer community about COVID-19 and when the season will start. At this point, the soccer community is unanimous about starting the season on time unless conditions change. Obviously, we will continue to monitor the situation and change course as necessary. But, as of this moment, for all of our leagues, it is business as usual.

The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) has done an admirable job providing guidance regarding COVID-19, which you should have received last week. We’re going to follow their lead. I am meeting with MYSA Executive Director Michael Borislow and the other league presidents on Saturday at the MYSA Annual General meeting. I’m sure this will be a continued topic of conversation.

If things change, we will certainly provide guidance to our member organizations.
