Masks Still a BAYS Requirement

As you may know, the CDC has eased mask guidelines for vaccinated people and Governor Baker is relaxing the outdoor mask order in Massachusetts. As of April 30, Mass Youth Soccer is awaiting specific guidance from the State about how this policy change will impact current COVID-19 guidelines for youth sports and spectators.

What does this mean to you?

At this time all youth soccer organizations must follow the current Mass Youth Soccer Spring 2021 Protocols for all soccer activities. This includes a mandate for face coverings.

BAYS requires that ALL players, coaches, referees, and spectators wear a mask. Social distance protocols remain in place as well (see link for MYSA protocols for additional details)

Please communicate this to your Coaches, COVID Coordinators, Referees & Families.

Until you hear differently from us, this current policy stands and applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.

Thank you for your continued support to provide a safe & competitive season for our players & everyone who makes this possible!
