BAYS now requires that all coaches complete mandatory concussion training prior to coaching in BAYS. This training can be done in the home on any computer. It will take 20 to 30 minutes to complete. The certification is good for 3 years in BAYS and then must be retaken.
At the end of the training session there will be a list of questions you need to answer and when you are done a certificate will pop up. You type in your name and save the pdf file or you can print it. It is probably wise to do both. Note: once you log out your information will NOT be saved at the CDC site but be saved if you register and use the NFHS website. Registrars will be expected to have these certificates in hand before allowing a coach or assistant to work with their team.
Click HERE for the link to CDC Concussion Training. It takes a moment to come up and then asks for you to input your name prior to starting.

Some coaches have reported getting hung-up in the middle of the course. That is not what is happening. When you get to this screen, you choose either Home or School. Once you choose open, then choose the other. There will be a Continue button on the screen at that point. See bottom image.
